GENERAL
Who can attend Live at Lydiard Festival?
Live at Lydiard festival is open to all ages but the following conditions apply:
- Anyone aged under 16 (15 or under) must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 +. There is a limit of one under 16 per adult aged 18-20 and a maximum of three under 16s per adult aged 21 +. Any adult accompanying an under 16 must have an acceptable form of ID on them (please see below for the types of ID we accept).
- Anyone aged 16+ may enter the festival unaccompanied but must bring an acceptable form of ID. We do not accept any parental or guardian duty for children attending the festival and we strongly advise that they have the permission of a parent or legal guardian before attending.
At the entrance gate we only accept the following forms of ID:
- Valid photo driving license.
- Valid provisional photo driving license.
- Valid passport.
- Valid pass card from the national proof of age standards scheme – this is the best form of ID to bring if you don’t want to bring a valuable document.
ID must be original. No copies or photos will be accepted. The festival reserves the right to refuse admission if there is any doubt that the ticket holder is under the entry requirement.
We operate a strict challenge 25 policy across all bars at the festival and ID is required to buy and drink alcohol.
Car parking & travel
If you are driving to Live at Lydiard you must buy a car park pass in advance.
Re-Entry
If you lose your wristband, you will not be able to re-enter the festival unless you pay full price again. If you need your wristband replaced you will need to go to the box office with the wristband still fully intact on your wrist and pay a £5 replacement fee.
We also understand that certain extreme circumstances can arise where leaving the site is essential. In this case, security will use their discretion and permission won’t be unreasonably withheld.

When will the set times be released?
We will not be releasing set times until the day of the festival. they will be available on site, within our event programmes.
Will you take card payments?
We are very excited to announce that Live at Lydiard 2022 will be a completely cashless site. All of our food traders, funfair rides and bars will only accept card payments and will not have the facilities to accept cash at all.
Please make sure you bring a payment card with you.
Is Live at Lydiard 2022 accessible?
We are very pleased to tell you that our site will be accessible, wherever possible, for wheelchair users. However, we are a greenfields site, which means that not all of the site will be 100% wheelchair friendly. but we will endeavor to make as much of our site accessible for wheelchair users as we can.
We will have disabled toilets across the site that will only be accessible with a disabled and/or carer ticket. For more information on how to access our disabled and carer tickets, please email us at

The name on the ticket doesn’t match my name. Is this okay?
Live at Lydiard do not accept tickets that do not match the name of the ticket holder. If you have purchased a ticket from someone else, not our official ticket outlet, you will need to arrange to have the name on the ticket changed.

What does the VIP ticket give me?
A VIP ticket for Live at Lydiard 2022 includes:
- Entry to the experience

How do I get my free car parking pass that came with my VIP ticket?
If you purchased a VIP ticket from Fever, you automatically receive one free Car Parking Pass with your order confirmation.
TRAVEL
General
The postcode for Live at Lydiard 2022 is SN5 3NY. Our site has one main entrance via Hook Street.
Please do not attempt to gain access to the festival through Lydiard Park. All festival traffic must use Hook Street.
Please head towards Hook Street and follow the signs for Live at Lydiard. Switch off your sat nav and follow festival directional road signage as you approach the festival.
Car parking
If you are driving to Live at Lydiard you must buy a Car Parking Pass in advance via our website. Parking for Live at Lydiard is only via the official Live at Lydiard car park.
Access to our official car park is via Hook Street. Please follow the signs for Live at Lydiard car park and have your Car Parking Pass ready for inspection.
Your car parking pass will be emailed to you in advance and will be scanned when you arrive. Please note that parking might not be available to buy on the day depending on availability.
You will be allowed to leave your car in our car park overnight, provided you have paid for a Car Park Pass. Your car must have been collected from the car park by 12:00pm (midday) on Sunday 21st of August 2022.
Please note, campervans, motorhomes and caravans are not permitted anywhere at the festival. you cannot stay in a vehicle in the car park overnight.
Drive towards Hook Street and follow the signs for car park. Our car park is approximately a 2-4 minute walk from the festival entrance.
Coaches
We are also delighted to announce Big Green Coach as our Official Travel Partner this year, with all of their coach services certified as carbon neutral. Day Return Coach Services start at £23. Coaches will drop you inside the festival gates before music starts and will get you home at the end of the night so you won’t miss any of the action. In fact, you can sleep all the way home! No pricey hotels, no leaving early for the train and no being designated driver.

Public & taxi pick-up & drop-off
If you are being dropped off at the festival, either by taxi or someone else, you will need to use our designated drop-off and pickup area within the festival site. Please drive to Hook Street and then follow signs for Live at Lydiard car park.
Our Official Taxi Partner for Live at Lydiard 2022 is SN1 Cars. They will be offering an increased service for Live at Lydiard this year but pre-booking is highly recommended. To book your service with SN1 Cars, please call 01793 523523 or book via their app.
The drop-off & pickup point for all traffic is located at the top of the festival car park. Please follow signs drop-off and pickup on Hook Street. Local taxi companies have been advised that they must use the drop-off and pickup area so please do not arrange to be dropped-off or picked up from elsewhere.
Train & bus services
Swindon railway station is situated 4 miles from the festival. Buses are available from next to the railway station (number 1 or 1a - ask for Lydiard). Taxis are also usually available at the rail station as an alternative.

On foot
Unless you are walking from a neighboring nearby property, we ask you not to walk to the event on foot as the roads are busy and there are no footpaths, so it’s not safe.
Our on site facilities for taxis and public drop-off and pickup are well set up and clearly sign posted so it’s quicker, easier and safer for you to use those.
WHAT YOU CAN & CAN’T BRING
Can I bring my own food and drink onto site?
Customers will not be allowed to bring their own food or drink onto the festival site. However, we will have a huge selection of local and international food and drink available to purchase on site from many different vendors, all at very reasonable prices. We will also have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options.

Can I bring my own bag onto the site?
You will be allowed to bring your own bag with you but we advise that you pack light. To maximize the safety of everyone attending Live at Lydiard, all customers will be subject to a thorough security check when they arrive.
Please be patient if there are queues and familiarize yourself with the below police and security policy as well as the prohibited items before you arrive to avoid unnecessary delays at the security checks. We recommend you don’t bring any unnecessary valuables. Unfortunately, festivals can attract opportunistic thieves. Keep valuables safe.
Please note that we do not have lockers of secure storage for your belongings on site.
Can I bring cigarettes with me?
Live at Lydiard will be enforcing the same regulations as any other establishment. You can smoke in the open air but not inside big tops and tents. Excessive amounts of cigarettes are not permitted to be brought into Live at Lydiard, an amount deemed to be reasonable for one day will be permitted.
Prohibited items
The following items are not permitted anywhere on site at Live at Lydiard:
- Air horns
- Animals (except assistance dogs)
- Audio recorders
- Chinese or sky lanterns
- Drones
- Excessive amounts of cigarettes (see smoking section above)
- Fireworks
- Flares
- Gazebos
- Generators
- Glass
- Illegal substances
- Knives
- Liquid fuels
- Marker pens
- Megaphones
- Nitrous oxide and/or whippers
- Portable laser equipment and pens
- Large speaker systems (pocket sized speakers are ok)
- ‘Legal highs’ and unidentifiable substances
- Skateboards, roller skates, bikes
- Large sound systems
- Spray cans
- Unauthorized items for trading, including any goods using unauthorized event logos
- Unauthorized professional film, video or camera equipment (lens bigger than 6″)
- Unofficial tabards or reflective jackets
- Weapons (or any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon)
Police & Security Policy
The premises license issued to Live at Lydiard festival by Wiltshire Council has conditions attached to it relating to the reporting of crime and to formulate a drugs policy with Wiltshire police..
You will be searched at the entrance. Any items which the organisers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated. Neither anti-social nor illegal behavior will be tolerated and participants will leave themselves liable for eviction from the event.
Surrender bins will be provided for the event to encourage festival goers to deposit drugs or other contraband in these bins before going onto the site. These bins will be subject to appropriate security measures.
The event organizers will ensure a robust and effective search procedure of patrons entering the event or suspected of possessing drugs once in the event itself. If persons are found within the event to be in possession of controlled drugs they may be presented to police who will undertake appropriate investigative measures. They will then assist security officers if necessary in evicting the persons from the event.
Where there are grounds to suspect that a person is involved in the supply of controlled drugs, they will be arrested and dealt with by the police accordingly.
For security reasons, all ticket holders will be subject to extra searches of their bags and their person at this year’s Live at Lydiard. This will make entrance slower. We ask everyone to be patient and we thank you in advance for your cooperation with any security requests and all searches.
We are encouraging people attending Live at Lydiard to have a great time and to be reassured that police patrols may be in place as a precautionary measure.
Can I bring a camping chair?
Camping chairs are not permitted at Live at Lydiard 2022.
Site Facilities
Will there be cash machines on site?
We are very excited to announce that Live at Lydiard 2022 will be a completely cashless site. All of our food traders, funfair rides and bars will only accept card payments and will not have the facilities to accept cash at all.

Will there be something to charge my phone?
There will be a place for you to charge your phone on site. You will have to pay for this service.
Will there be lockers on site?
There will not be any lockers on site to store your belongings.
Toilets
Toilets will be available across the entire festival site. This includes disabled toilets.
Medical and welfare
Our medical and welfare tent will be located in the main festival arena. They will be open throughout the entire duration of the event and are there to help you with any issues you might have.
Merch
We will have a merch stand with official festival merch on sale. Items range from £10 to £50 and the merch stand will accept card payments only.
